Bakers Vaults

Ha used a tripod because I cant keep steady for a hand held 30 second exp. Think its about time I got back to some cheery black and whites. Hmm when I get back I have a whole month of trampling levenshulme,Gorton, Trafford,Failsworth et al into submission, hmmm grungy.....

Great colors and enough detail to keep one looking for a long time. I have to say that is seems a bit unorganized to me, but that is probably what you were going after.
David Johnson: Spot on again, I'd seen this in daytime and have a shot of it in BW but liked the looking in, looking through and reflection jumble that this angle gave. The Sodium lighting helped as well.

If you can produce quality, thoughtful & unusual shots like this, why do you need to go rushing off for grungy B&W shots!! Keep them coming, Mr J.
Gorgeous colour, and lots of interest in this shot. I like colour! (:o)
David Johnson: Yes Ros, will keep it colourful til I run out of all the landscape stuf Ive just snapped in Wales.

I'm with the others..... your colour work is super, so no need to rush into B+W mode! This one here is a great example.
David Johnson: Yep, staying in full technicolour for wee while, Pembrokeshire has been given the treatment and colour it will be!
Bring on more colour I say - this is a cracking shot.
David Johnson: Ay, will hang back on the BW as too many Holiday shots to get through...
Intriguingly complex in it's simplicity!
David Johnson: I think I like using a tripod now, got over the embarrasment, so much so that I regularly flumoxed dog walkers on the beaches of Wales last week

fantastically abstract sir! There is much to entertain the eye in this one, very cool. mal
David Johnson: Well I scared all the local drinkers doing this and had a David Lynch moment when a Horse and Cart went past behind me with folk dressed in full Hi viz gear on it...Stockport eh!!!!

You need a while to take it all in, plenty to see and good colour as well.

Look forward to some B&W as well.
David Johnson: BW might have to wait Les as i have a hard drive full of Wales pics from this last weeks hols, got some tankers at Milford Haven........
Enigmatic ... I just love the inside outside challenges that shots like this create. richard.
David Johnson: Think I need to get away from peering into glass/plastic and looking for jumbled images but it is quite addictive, but the looking in/looking through/reflecting back harpies keep singing that song to me....
