Sepia sand always looks magical.
David Johnson: Yes, thought a black and white would 'mix things' up a bit but it has more life as a sepia.
What about the goal right at the end? Daughter is Arsenal fan, and I love the way they play football. (I am Bluenose! we lost 3-1 at Everton. 2 goals in injury time!!!!!). Nice shot David. Sepia works really well.
David Johnson: See, I was having a good start, nursing my self inflicted alcohol injuries back to normality and you mention that last minute abomination......total relapse, will have to go and lie on the settee watching Moto GP now....

To see them at the end you would have thought that they had won. It won't last.

Wonderful use of light yet again - you got some tremendous shots on your mini break.
David Johnson: Too right to the first bit! Just couldn't stop clicking on Holiday mike, unfortunately not a lot of recycle bin fodder so will plough on, have a load of Bradford stuff from last week and have a month of the 'intresting' bits of Manchester to walk around starting Monday so will probably dump stuff on Flickr and pop a link in!Lets hope the sun keeps going like today!!!!!

Looks really grand in sepia, like the wide lens view as well. Inspires me to go down to the beach, but Southport is a bit boring unfortunately.
David Johnson: I remember having picnics there and wondering where the sea was???? Good fun watching the planes take off from the beach though!

Beautiful shot, liquid gold was my first thought.
David Johnson: Soon as I read Liquid Gold I was thinking of naff 80's pop bands so I have found a link so you can get down to those funky beats! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v0dyPmIKRM
Football ? What football...It's a different world up in them there hills. Hmmm seems my first comment has disappeared into the ether. Grrreat tones and lighting... richard.
David Johnson: Dangerously close to Foogy, Clegg and er.........the other one, near Bakewell. Its like stepping back in time around those little towns...which can be nice, nice to here about the lack of blisters as well!

was there at the emirates, was amazing...nice toning here...
David Johnson: You can afford to go to the Emirates!!!!!!
This looks wonderful in sepia. I particularly like the use of wide angle on a vertical shot like this. Fantastic molten light. Atmosphere in our house was more than a little subdued yesterday afternoon, as you can imagine!

David Johnson: Guiness and cider took the edge off...

This manages to look desolate and attractive at the same time. Good one!
David Johnson: You know Martin I think you've summed up this area pretty well!
