These are the last visible remains of a coaster than ran aground with a cargo of 300 Pigs.1837 April 19th. ALBION. (BRISTOL). Wooden Paddle Steamer. 270 tons. 150'ft. Marloes. (Bt 1831). Driven onto beach. Cork-Bristol.Running southerly thru Jack Sound hit rock, and was then beached. The big 'tap' shaped object is one of the cranks that joined up with the paddles, you can only see this at low tide. Had a bad day up on Saddleworth Moor yesterday, horizontal rain and nowhere to hide but have snapped the elusive Saddlewoth Llamas, yes Llamas, so after this beach stuff (it could go on for months) I will reveal all. Are you ready for some beach sculpture...well maybe Thursdays the day!
