S'rope

Didn't know man made fibres could go mouldy!! Seems to have been lying about for a fair few years. Thought y'all needed a break from all that sand and sea, although there are tons of images I've not had time to have a chimp session with! Think you all deserve to see some of my Beach based Art installations, naive art hits Wales in the style of.... hmmm.....better get my big photoshop duster out for a proper pixel polish

This is a good find. All those ropey patterns with a sprinkling of bright leaves.
David Johnson: Had to lean over someones garden wall to get this, had a few baffled looks back!

Very juicy. Real meat.

David Johnson: Cheers Chucky!
Looks like those dish clothes you're knittting have got rather tangled ;-). Great graphic shot. richard.
David Johnson: This is how my'Windsor' Knots used to end up looking like!
Bring back the sandwink
David Johnson: Sand and Art tomorrow, er could be a winning combination....yeh!
i like the colours and the contrast
David Johnson: Thats what caught my eye, ta for the comment.
All this old rope on SC these days, tut tut. Not sure about the leaves - I think the rope could have held the shot better on its own. But then that would have been a totally different atmosphere - don't mind Mr Gloom here ;o)
David Johnson: Do you know how long it took me to paste those 'king leaves in in Pshop.....I should watch your dosage or you'll end up like me, I thought this sounded like you felt........ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_sZD7ZnWvc

Ticks all the boxes for me- the sort I love to take and don't have the courage to show anyone! Super textures, lines, colours and tones.
David Johnson: Think Ive got to the stage where I just don't care, which is nice, as the next few posts will illustrate!!
Nicely spotted and captured.
David Johnson: This is what happens when you lean over peoples garden walls.
Lovely, David! I really like the texture of the tangled rope and, personally I like the contrasting leaves. Smashing. (:o)
David Johnson: Yep, bit like me this 100% Natural..ummm..yeh

I also like the leaves against the grey and green of the rope. The texture is very heavy and hard, nice one.
David Johnson: Thanks Tracy, yes just a snap over someones garden wall whilst better half and offspring indulged in a bit of pre- Christmas retail therapy
S'wonderful....s'marvelous.
David Johnson: S'Autumn....

gorgeous tones...
Have to agree with Mike (if I don't, he sulks!) and say that I find the leaves a bit OTT. Think it would have been stronger without them - more graphic.
Ingrid
David Johnson: It was bad enough leaning over someones garden wall whilst taking this and being given the once over, I think reaching down and chucking leaves all over the place would have been the precursor to Armageddon....they're Welsh folk...you know boyo.....you arn't local like....

Now that's a refreshing change - how much money can you get for this old rope? I like this - leaves or no leaves. My kind of 'found' picture, nice one David.
David Johnson: Thought you all needed a breather.....well this is it , more sand and rocks tomorrow...with the mysterious Mr Hobbs....
Knot bad, knot bad al all!
David Johnson: Bill you'll find the door is over there........by bye now and don't let this happen again
Again, great texture and colouring. Inspirational.
David Johnson: Thanks Michael, somehow felt this had a bit of cheesiness that you used to get in those American styl ads for Kodachrome 64 back way back when....
a few leaves, a bit of old rope, and a stunning photo, super.
David Johnson: Thank god for things just lying about, I'd be lost without it!
