Pointy...

I probably went giddy and shot too many of this icon but tried a non comformist way of looking at composition........what! .......without resorting to any pp tricks. Will stick the full set up ove on Flickr when the spare parts arrive for deep thought, which I hope will be today......trampling around Gorton, Levenshulme and Longsight, hmm nice, so piles and piles of the less well tended bits of Manchester captured, Highlights include what showed up when they emptied Debdale, competetive fly tipping and a giant stuffed rabbit.......

Looking forward to deep thought being back to full computional strength. Hope the first post will be titled '42'

The last vestige of a once great country looks on wistfully as the vapour trail unfurls overhead. Like it David.
David Johnson: Think my Terminal is terminal, think the answer is 850 quid to Dell, must keep it quiet from the missus or I will lose another bit of my genitals....see if that runs past the spam bots...tempted to bodge in a 'tear' from the poor old dear, stationed as she is watching other planes flit in out of the airport. S'rather sad and poignant!
The 'zip fastener' vapour trail mirrors/parallels the mighty beast nicely. So it's an OK ;- shot. richard.
David Johnson: Totally undodged as well!
Impressive composition - Hat off Maestro !
David Johnson: From you oh kind one thats mighty fine praise!
A lot to look forward to then David. Like this picture a lot. Never flew on Concorde although my brother did once. It was a wonderful sight to see in flight though. Hope deep thought doesn't have vista or you will be as p****d of with it as I am.
David Johnson: No vista thankfully although had a tickle with Pa in Laws laptop and it seemed almost user friendly, but thats not the same as living with it is it!!!!!May treat meself to an all singing image cruncher at christmas......
Masterful photograph. (:o)
David Johnson: Ta Ros, poor thing looks quite sad, should be up there flapping about with its bretheren, liked the angle and non conformist comp with this!

Top-notch juxtaposition David.
David Johnson: Had all th plane-nerds scrithing their balding heads as I scrabbled about on the grass getting odd angles of this baby, so many of them just snapping planes taking off and landing....taking off and landing....taking off.....
Iconic aeroplane, well presented David.
David Johnson: Ta Les, all very sad though.
