photoblog image It'll never fly

It'll never fly

So first the real thing and now the er ..artistic impression. Actually its quite impressive in its own right and can be quite photogenic. Looks like its 100% Wicker, so probably best to steer clear at Pagan festival times!

Very clever. The same angle makes all the difference.
David Johnson: Had to hang about for the right plane, almost got confused with being a plane-spotter, sheesh. No I usually take one shot and run away toot sweet but patience got this one.
The string and wicker frame mirrors/parallels the mighty beast nicely.
So it's an OK ;- shot. richard.
David Johnson: I see you've used your new catch phrase twice on me!!! I'm always on the lookout for a new non committal catch phrase but seem to have hit the wall as far as SC is concerned, will have to dredge the bowels of flickr to find some ascerbic bon mots methinks,
Edward Woodward for pilot?
David Johnson: I'd pay good money to see that!!!! Mind you I'd pay good money to see 2 kids kicking a tin can about......

David Johnson: ..thank god....
Fascinating execise in pararellism going on here. Well seen that man!
David Johnson: Had to do something to distance myself from the testosterone fuelled nerdydom that was happening over on the viewing deck, everyone seemed to ignore this great piece of wickerdom
This is about all we could build now!
David Johnson: We'd have to subcontract it though.......

Well spotted again David.
David Johnson: Ta mate, I thought it was worth hanging about for this.
Excellent job. The wicker mirros the plane (or vice versa).
Love the grey scale tones.
David Johnson: Thanks Michael, first bit of pping using an LCD screen and the angle of viewing makes all the difference so am still a bit unsure of how they 'really' look
