Shipwreck. Marloes.

Its the place where 300 pigs were shipwrecked.......this is the crank for the paddles that pops out at low tide!

Here's one I made earlier    http://maxblack.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Pigs_/

stunning shot great b+w,top notch sky.
David Johnson: Cheers Mick, ran it through Photomatix and a bit of diddling on the Left hand side to balance the light.
Lord save us: it's the long- necked iron duck monster last seen battling in a Japanese 'B' movie!
Cool b/w conversion, Master.
David Johnson: Don't you just love that pre-victorian engineering ethic that allows a lump of cast metal to survive this hostile environment for over 160 years! Scrape those barnacles off...be as good as new!
Stunning! Perfect black and white. It`s very inspiring. (:o)
David Johnson: Just about to start getting my teeth into CS3 and the Black and white convertor looks flexibly awesome..but this was CS2 and a run through Photomatix

Both pictures are so beautiful. smile Me like very much.
David Johnson: Thanks Kay, you can only get to this beach when the tide is fully out, only company I had was a solitary Grey seal just where the waves were breaking
Like a modern sculpture... amazing black and white, as usual... !!! smile
David Johnson: Thanks Florence, ran this through Photomatix before a tickle in CS2, I think I did this as a double hue/sat conversion into b/w!!
Great artistic B&W shot. Well done
David Johnson: Thanks Richard, think its down to the real benefit of shooting in RAW, in the old days I would have been fiddling about patching and pasting bits of jpegs all over the place
great composition and the detail throughout is supersmile Photomatix will have to check this out.
David Johnson: Its useful on those tricky exposures that defeat digi.

What a strange memorial to the British version of the Bay of the Pigs debacle! Great tones in this shot!
David Johnson: But what a great memorial to the quality of materials used by pre-victorian engineers!

I liked the other one David, but I like this even more.

Fabulous atmosphere David.
David Johnson: Think bacon was on the menu for the locals for quite a few months after this happened.

Cracking bit of B&W stuff Maxy, your not going to spoil it for me by telling me you HDRd it!
David Johnson: Maxs magic EDR, 2 layer destructive hue/sat tickling and blithering masking!
Who would have thought that a bit of rusty metal on a beach could have such history, well seen David.
David Johnson: The whole coast is littered with this stuff, could be a project in there somewhere!
