Is this the Srockport Viaduct, I've just bought a new book on the River mersy with some fine oictures in it and ther are a couple of the viaduct. By the way I like the picture.
David Johnson: Tricky to get a good view of this as most of the area has industrial/shopping units all over it!
A beautiful Mersey Morning. Wonderful shot, David.
David Johnson: By crikey it was a wee bit nippy,,,well for England..for you ..maybe not!
stunning David, just a shame about that ugly building through the arches, love that big reflectionsmile
David Johnson: Thats the benefit of having town planners! I think it was a photoshop retouch job too far to get it whipped out.

This is a sheer delight David.
David Johnson: Hey nothing wrong about cold snaps if we keep getting sunrises like we are at the moment, thanks for the comment as well Bill!

Evening! Lovely shot - and I'd like to see another version of this with just the right-hand side of the picture, cutting through the middle of the main arch so concentrating on the industrustrial building that has been constructed through the archway, which is so unusual, or maybe the archway came second?
David Johnson: I'll have to take my step ladders. This was a tippy toe-resting the camera on the stone edging-clicking the button to see what happns shot. All around here are ramshackle industrial units, probably relics from the hat industry.
Nice shot, Great reflection
David Johnson: Think we're going to need some rain soon as the Mersey seems to be coming to a halt!

Wot! Not rubbish sticking out of the canal?
David Johnson: This is the mighty torrent a.k.a The Mersey!! There's a weir up where the Goyt and the Tame meet up to become the Mersey, that seems to collect a fine cross section of junk!
Those lights really pop!
