Topps tiles, Stockport.

Negotiated a bit of snapping time as we wandered down into Stockport for the start of the Sales, glass and low sun were the only things that caught my eye.

What a wild looking arrangement. I am not sure what it is, but I like it!
David Johnson: Think thematically I will be running with glass and reflections for a while...

I have no idea what I'm looking at, but it definitely kicks my imagination back to work.

Im love the fact that windows are not cleaned any better down in Leicester. Funnily enough I have taken smeared windows to use as a texture overlay ... I'll have to dig it out and use it. Oh and by the way ... the food India was pretty damn good ...so Rusholme eat your heart out.
David Johnson: Most amazing thing is that these babies remain unsmashed, not bad seeing as they are next to one of our wildest Karaoke Pubs...
It is that `Windowlene` effect! I don`t think they have that in Picasa - lol! I love it, David. Unusual and very imaginative. (:o)
David Johnson: Think I'll have to save this as an overlay, could be wacky.
Mid picture, mid painting... interesting effect... this window adds abstraction to the landscape behind...
David Johnson: Thanks flroence

Is this windowlene that has been put on to advertise new pane of glass? Wish I was that loose with my brushwork!

Works a treat David - very eerie green!
David Johnson: Not sure if its the glass tint or the reflection thts causimng the green! Guessing that the ticker is performing okay dokey.
very clever and unusual David, had me thinking what the heck is it for quite some timesmile
David Johnson: Ha, should have not bothered to put a description down for this and boggled the lot of you, ta for calling by again.
Can't beat a bit of window cleaner to make interesting patterns, sky looks good too. well seen David.
David Johnson: Not bad seeing as it was a 'post-sale' wander home.

Funny and original composition ... It could have been one of my photos ... We have same effect on our windows thanks to Aston ( you have ever seen before ... ) each time it is raining ...
David Johnson: Aston...no but next time I'm in a Leclercs I'll have a hunt for it, hope the new Year is good for you.

David Johnson: Now Ive started humming the Beer at home is Davenports advert...its stuck in my head radio....you are to blame...did they manage to find enough tiny actors for the Borrowers?????
You've left me wondering whether you carry the window-cleaning fluid in your camera bag for just such moments. It's an interesting effect.
David Johnson: Be prepared ...thats the motto...step ladders..windowlene...Arc lights....flunkies....
