I like how it fills the frame (completely) drawing attention to all the intricate textures.
David Johnson: Thanks Martin, used someone else's freebie texture overlay on this just to see ehat it would do.
That is stunning. I really like the way you used the lines to pull us in and the processing is excellent.
David Johnson: Put a border on this page originally but it looked (felt)constricted by it, I was after an 'In your face' look to it which works on the black.
Wow! Love the way I am drawn in, or should I say up, in this photograph. Great detail and lovely sepia tones. (:o)
David Johnson: Thanks Ros, using a freebie texture overlay from flickr, one that Les highlighted a few posts ago, popped the original sepia which I liked.
fantastic photo David, well processed a likey any day of the week.smile
David Johnson: Thanks Tim, hope New Year was good to you! Nice angular chimney deserved this treatment I think!

Wow David this really leaps off the screen. Love the angle.
David Johnson: Well its just started snowing so I reckon its Photo opportunity time....found a site that has lots of freebie overlay layers to download....this seems to have given the bricks some 'pop'

Impressive composition David.
David Johnson: Ta Chris, had wandered down the canal path, it was Photo cliche land, and this is the only thing that I saw that appealed

I always think of the poor brickies that had to build these things. Round and round, up an up, and nowt but cold tea and a ha'pe'th of tar for there trouble.

Like the idea of squeezing more in sideways ;o)
David Johnson: Looks like this was completely repointed to 'match' the canalside bijouness of the apartments...poor buggars...pointing ,not a job for the impatient
Dramatic perspective Max. I rather like the tonal rendering.
David Johnson: Yes a layer Les pointed me towards on flickr.
