Lovely stuff- great POV, angles and colours (although the colours do remind me of those yukkie shirts in "greenwoods for men" in the 1970s! wink
David Johnson: Oh God don't dredge up those kind of memories,I can still feel the rasp of herringbone trousers against disco gyrating flesh!!!

Modern once, a long time ago, and it probably doesn't look nearly as clean in person. I like the wide angle perspective.
David Johnson: Problem is this is really brand spanking new......maybe there was a Retro brief in the consultation stage, sits oddly against all this Glass and Shiny metal sprouting everywhere.
Wide perspective !
David Johnson: Thanks Florence, spent the morning 'looking up' at a lot of new bits in Manchester, so may post some more like this.
Very nice wide angle perspective. I like the colour tones
David Johnson: Thanks Richard, quite a tall building for Manchester.

Great shot - and made better for the inclusion of the fencing giving an extra dimension to the work. Like it.
David Johnson: Have a 'frame filler' of a shot with the fence more prominent, may post it later.
I spotted this the last time we visited Manc-ville - great shot.
David Johnson: See you've tasted the place so I have to be extra careful with the fiddling now or I will get found out!

these so called modern buildings to me are a disgrace, no thought whats so ever put into them just built quick and as cheaply as possible, that said your photo has made it into a work of artsmilesuperb David.
David Johnson: Big slab of a place this Tim, but its there to give cheapish accomodation to Students and low waged city dwellers...its doing its job but it could have been clad in something a wee bit more visually friendly.

Directed towards Heaven !!! Nice colours and clouds in the sky ...
David Johnson: Probably our only sunny day this week Ann, seem to have slipped into grey grimness since New Year, had to make the most of the opportunity.

High impact pic and if you fell from itsmile
Love this dramatic point of view! Love the rich colours. I suspect your photograph has improved this building no end. (:o)
Interesting perspective David, makes a boring building look more acceptable.

Ooow, you know, I've realised I don't like modern architecture, it's all too clean and unfriendly.

I like the picture though, good perspective and good detail.
