Quite photogenic tho' - I see the famous maxblack sky making an appearance top left ;o)
David Johnson: After the tragic loss of contrails this will now be my leitmotif!
Excellent capture - love the different lines and angles.
David Johnson: 60's office block collides with 00's cladding, think they've pulled off the groundfloor quite well but still looks like the old BT building above.
They can create a hotel out of almost anything these days. I bet the Strowger exchange keeps them awake at night! Or have I got my lines crossed?

Makes a good image.
David Johnson: As long as you don't get your temporal field lines crossed you should be Okay. Still waiting for someone to spectacularise the old Fire station just outside Piccadilly, now that would be one heck of a refurb!

Very shiny David, is this where McDonald's keep their chickens then?
David Johnson: This is the nugget farm!

quality springs to my mind when i look at this.smile
David Johnson: Now it does say 'Quality', that oft abused word, just under where its says Mcdonald hotel, got a bit of a slagging in the Evening News but that won't stop it filling up with Widget sales conferences.

Looks like a building of quite singular ugliness. Now you have recorded it perhaps they can demolish it.
David Johnson: Billions spent refurbing this Bill, so sorry, looks like Manchester might have to do a deal with the IRA again to get this toppled over.

As long as it doesn't also have elephant sized droppings I think we'll be OK. I like the picture, but somehow I think the building is revolting, it looks like a giant bird hide, covered in aluminium.
David Johnson: You shouold have seen this place before the tarted it up....60's curvy concrete on a grand scale, ground floor looks okay, just don't look up.

Quality image, David, really like this one a lot.
Is this building near to UMIST? I recall a large BT building near the main Uni maths towerblock.
David Johnson: This is it!!!! Its been hotel-ified after being empty for such a long time!

I am not generally a fan of images of buildings, but I quite like this one.
David Johnson: This is probably the best this place will look...the rest is still 60's concrete.
