Man of leisure......

Okay, as I have been 'resting' these last couple of weeks , Ive been topping up the Photoshop techniques, here's one from those fab peeps over on planetphotoshop, call in or do a search on Youtube, tell em I sent you any way this is a modification of this method    http://www.planetphotoshop.com/photo-to-drawing.html

I found that after watching it a couple of times, making notes and then running it in the background as I did it, I was in the swing of things toot sweet and off taking it a bit further.

This differs from their method in the fact that I have colour picked some sky and used those as my background colours and then used a big squishy soft brush and painted on the mask instead of using gradients and tickled about wih the blend modes...have fun trying it out on portraits as we speak!!!

Tomorrow will be a quick how to, which is all of 5 mins of your time.

Very interesting David. I must have a look at some of these you tube tutorials. I shall have a look at the how to tomorrow
David Johnson: You have to be selective...some can be a bit iffy...
Great technique David, look forward to your comments tomorrow.

This is rather nice, somewhat bizarre to look at because it seems as if the building's only half finished. Clever technique though, it works well because it gives a picture that stands 'looking at' for a while.
David Johnson: I'm working on turning things into glass now...my head hurts....

Looks good David - I like the almost wet look that it has. Will wait for tomorrows with interest ;o)
David Johnson: Lost the image i was going to post in one of my many folders, something else will be stuck up as compensation!!
