Media City

Media City, well when its finished it will be. New home to all those BBC departments that lost out in the Scissor,Paper, Stone shoot out. Anyone tell them what Regent road is like at Rush Hour or what happens when Man Utd play a night match....there may be trouble ahead. No fancy dan CS3 stuff just a reflection in the luvverly Salford Quays water . And I have to say, much respect to all those Tri-athletes that swim around in this stuff every year, they're either super tough or pumped full of drugs...what am I saying athletes...drugs.....na..they wouldn't ...would they???

Very painterly, i like it. You have to wonder about the wisdom of such transhumance but good for Salford, no!
David Johnson: I think its great for Salford and all those empty bijou contemporary waterside apartments, but this quayside is just one road in and out!!!!! Unless they get the Man Utd Ferry down to Altrincham I see tears before bedtime. The reluctance of BBG execs to transpose themselves may open up opps for local talent to fill the breach.
My limited visits to Salford almost make me sorry for the BBC media types. Great reflection picture.
David Johnson: Character building Bill, that'll stiffen their spines.

Its probably a subtle form of early retirement and lets face it ITV could use an influx of talent - any talent.

Usually like some kind of real world reference in my reflection shots, and see you have the odd bubble top right (probably unintentional), but this works a treat without. Good greys.
David Johnson: I did do another shot but with a string of old tyres bobbing about, quite disconcerting flipped, hey this water just bubbles all the time, and not in a nice way....

this is delightful, who'd ahve thought you could depict a building site of this scale with such beauty, well done.
David Johnson: I only hope that they give this place some creative lighting/cladding exterior, possibilities of some great night shots.
I didn't realise the BBC move to Manchester was still going ahead.

Excellent reflection.
David Johnson: I think Sport and CBBC are on their way here plus some others, not sure if BBC Oxford road is going to be shut but I'm sure the buildings would be swallowed up by the University.
Isn't Luverly water and Salford Quays a bit of an oxymoron, Nice reflection David
