What can I say? The tire stackers in Raleigh are unimaginative, alas. This arrangement reminds me of interwoven fingers.
David Johnson: Apparently its a long apprenticeship that must be served to get to this level of stylish stacking
Don't let the Tate modern see this or they might buy them!
David Johnson: Didn't someone torch that submarine sculpture made from tyres outside the Tate?????

Could make a good submarine out of those ;o)
David Johnson: Ah, but did someone set fire to it or is it a figleaf of my imagination
Very cleverly stacked, I imagine this format makes them less likely top slide or topple. They make a very good picture though. Well seen.
David Johnson: I wonder what Brian Sewell would have said about these??? Mayce its an anti vandal trick, no one there to ask!
Very creative way to stack tyres! Well spotted.
David Johnson: I spotted a monster car boot going on around the outside of Rochdale town hall, which I skittered off to snap and stumbled over these...result!

The yellow one in the corner looks like it was once used for something fun! This is a good example of decorative art smile
David Johnson: Oddly there seems to be a touch of yellow in the treads of all of these...very suspicious Dr Watson!!!
Looks as if the rubber didn't need any twiddles from you ... great pattern/texture.

David Johnson: Another almost straight out of the can, just a wee bit of blue taken out, cheers Richard.
Great. A pile of tyres so much more interesting than a single tyre!
