Crusty.....and generously over saturated....

Although there is an ever increasing pile of new work lolling around the HD I am still seeing whats what in CS3, and basically going through all the 'must do later' stuff, that almost fell into the recycle bin, now this was an awful on camera flash shot of this old thing, hauled out up at Kirkcudbright,Shadow of the lens hood and a light gradient fall off to the right and with new miracle CS3 to wash away the crud it came out like this. PP...huh...what is it good for.....as the man Isaac once sang!

You can see the value of cs3 to the pro. Imagine if this was an important commercial image and no chance to re take it! If I had £500 to spare, I know I would buy it!
David Johnson: Just crazy the depth of tweaking that can be done to resurrect 'operator error' exposures, am now going through all the stuff that was skimmed over in the past and left festering on the HD....Ive got a copy of the new Photoshop Elements Ive not tried that came with this computer so may fiddle..even more...with that!

Great picture, but I think you have your soul wires crossed. I thought it was Edwin not Isaac ;o) Absolutely nuthin!
David Johnson: Edwin it is and a good thing too! Old age ,.....huh....what is it good for!
I thought decent photographers ... sorted the nuances of the thing to be photographed before taking the image ... humph ;-) ;-) Good grungy outcome Dave.

David Johnson: This is from those Giddy Jpeg days when I gambolled about the hills and dales with not much more than cotton wool for brains and flash snapping was an evil that i never grubbied my fingernails with...ahhhh...now as CS3 opens Jpegs through Bridge I can do this...now here's the kicker...do I go back to Jpegs or still shoot RAW....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

The effort certainly paid off.

(can you tell me please, how to get rid of a lens hood shadow from a picture)
David Johnson: I can, but then I would have to kill you.......
