Middlesboro...The Land that Time Forgot....

Managed to take a wrong turn whilst trying to find the Riverside Stadium and stumbled across a park full of these metal rascals. Well I had a great time wandering and snapping. No one else about  and no signs, well that I could see, directing you to this.

Faux IR effect in CS3...crank up the luminance in yellow and green then the saturation in blue, and go crazy with the BW layer. sprinkle with a little blur on a duplicate layer and change to  a soft light blend

How very strange - and also how very sad that there was no (obvious) signage to this.
Good find, David, but could you find it again!!
David Johnson: All I need to do is get lost trying to find the Riverside Stadium again.

I think this is great. I'd tone down the bright section on the subject a bit but on the whole, I like this shot
David Johnson: Fair comment but the effect is for a 'blown'IR look, original is better tonally, ta for the comment.
Nice 3Dness. Yes, that is a real word. How big was this boy, David? And is the one to the left much smaller, or just further away than it looks?
David Johnson: Er Life sized, bigger than a Rhino about 7foot at its backbone, Ive got a T Rex and Brontos as well.
Great find David , looks like something from Lego Land.
David Johnson: If they did this around these parts they would be swathed in fab graphitti instead of the magic marker stuff which the locals have applied.

An interesting find to be sure. I'll have to give your recipe a go too
David Johnson: Its a CS3 one can all be done in RAW convertor

The effect works.

Same as Chris, I'm intrigued by the scale.
David Johnson: Bigger than a Rhino but smaller than a Bus, tiddler is about 2x the size of a Labrador.
Why would you want to go to the Riverside stadium? grin
David Johnson: I'm funny that way
A dinosaur with graffiti. You don't see those very often.
