photoblog image Blackpool Tower

Blackpool Tower

One thing that ties all these images together is the use of an ND110 filter, this one of course is with the camera attached to a tripod (Thank you Bill). Peer onto the horizon and the Pepsi Max big one and Blackpool Tower can just about be seen.

Love this one, David. Is it a graduated filter or just a regular one?
David Johnson: BW ND110 on this one,30 seconds to freeze up the ripples in the sea.
I thought you would have attached it to the cameragrin

I must invest in one or two of these one day.
David Johnson: Doh,obviously need more caffeine and Sports Mixtures, Gold Star today Bill, Gold Star!

Boy this hits the spot. Phenominal "blow it up and stick it on the wall" stuff David.

[Goes off to google the prices of ND filters...]
David Johnson: I ended up getting one from America through ebay and it was in stock. Walls full of my old tosh from 21/4sq days, ahhhhh cibachromes.....
Wow, David. This is really amazing. beautifully captured in b&w. well done!
David Johnson: Thanks Charles, this is a big wide sweeping beach where the sea just laps in, not much of a gradient so you'll always get this ridging of the sand.
Incredible work.
David Johnson: Thanks Michael, its one heck of a beach.
superb shot David, might give Blackpool a go in a week or so i shall bare this in mind m8smile
David Johnson: Check your tide times before you go, sea was out here but still in at South Shore, worth checking anyway.
Very dramatic processing. Really draws the eye.
David Johnson: Thanks Mary, glad you liked it.
Wow, it's wonderful. Great processing David.
David Johnson: Thanks Francesc, I was pleased the way this turned out.
That will do nicely! Let me know next time you venture back: would be good to meet up... smile
