The long exposure certainly gives the image the look of a photograph taken on a rickety bridge while the tank was rolling by at speed. Nice ti see the filter used for something different than flattened oceans and scudding clouds!
David Johnson: Ah....erm....yes...scudding clouds tomorrow...but my style!
Now there is a reason for me to go to Salford Quays, I do like tanks. Looks like you were quaking with terror when you took this.
David Johnson: Point yourself east down the M62 and you'll be here in no time les, just remember to have a pen handy if you use a tripod!

this works so well - scary image!
David Johnson: Thanks Paul, Ive got a Mono one from a different angle that has the feel of 1968 and all that.
This is a great shot, Max Old Chap!

I have to admit being a great fan of tanks( strange what you get into as a child!) The T34 was indeed a great machine. The German 'Jagdpanther' was my tank of choice: would I love to drive one down Church Street & point that gun at the assembled crew in the Town hall! smile
David Johnson: Let me know when this is going to happen and I'll take the snaps, I see they've played 'shit or bust' and bought the Tower, you council tax payers, you must have loadsamoney....
