Hmmmm.......
Well every now and then I slip one of my famous animal pictures in. By crikey its chilly, came past on Monday and it was frozen but had filled all my cards with crazy sunsets up in the hills.

Nice work with the light. Good idea to go b/w.
David Johnson: But me and Animals.....and landscape......I dont think its the perfect dovetail joint.
I think this is a very good photograph. You should do a lot more landscapes with or without animals.
David Johnson: Get a bit shaky if I overdo the 'nice' stuff, there's so much of my kind of grungy crustiness gasping to be captured around here,
stunning scene David and great mono processing. 2comments cant be right someone deleted the previous 20,
David Johnson: I think I fooled everyone with the inclusion of aninals and scenery, they were all in some kind of visual shock stasis mode,,,or maybe its just crap!
A splendid sky and the ducks are nice too! You are obviously getting in touch with your feminine side - Max Black goes fluffy!
Ingrid
David Johnson: Can knock out a pretty decent muffin as well! Repression and self flagellation manages to hold it in check though
Nice monochrome David but I'm going to be a bit picky. I feel a lower viewpoint would have avoided the large empty area across the middle of the picture.
David Johnson: Picky is no problemo, you're probably right but I have this self constricting mantra that what I see is what you get, and I only usually take one shot of anything,so I have quite a lot of 'dang nabbit' moments when I load things on the ol' puter, the curse of self imposed standards!
Two potentially good images here Mr Black.
Secondly don't shy away from those things that are warm blooded, curvey and that can communicate back to you ... (even if they send you quackers) Keep them coming Dave. richard
David Johnson: Only TWO!!! Seeing as this had a late surge to the finishing post I may delve into the 'comedy' animal shot file; that'll teach you, anyway, I thought you were on holiday???
Interesting composition David, like the way the ducks are all at the bottom of the image. The landscape is not too bad either.
David Johnson: Super smashing up here, even when the weather starts to tear at your flesh, which is nice.....
A silver tonality... always beautiful pictures here... I'm really a fan you know !
David Johnson: Oh Flo thanks!!!
yay!, fantastic range of tones...thank god someone still remember show to achieve those..
David Johnson: Oops careful what you say young un, the odd person has been known to read stuff like this, but ta for the comment and for recognising tonality...
great atmosphere. looks like the poor ducks are going to get rained on.
David Johnson: I think they were saying'ouch' as it was Derbyshire hail which is not very pleasant.
What can I say David ???
Except that : I WANT THIS PICTURE IN MY ROOM !!!! A faithful fan ! |
