photoblog image Bench number 4

Bench number 4

Last one of these benches, I did some last year , have given this a bit harsher treatment, why?, because i can! No one ever sits on these but they look good! Oh I  have dislodged a few vertebra retouching to this playing in the background...but very LOUD...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL4mywCOJXA&feature=user

Hey, I do remember these benches. I just joined the shutter at the time and was really impressed with your shots of them.
Thanks for the link. I've never heard of them. Great stuff.

Great composition. I like how the bench matches the garbage can. And i do like the harsh processing; gives it a nice metallic, shiny look.
Very pure and fluid... I love that! Regards, Laurence
Nice composition. I'm not sure how comfortable these bench would be without a backrest.
New song for me - thanks. Very compelling photo and I'm glad you did it because you can.
Wonderful composition. Great lighting and contrast here!

Excellent David.

Have a great weekend.
I know that everyone that sat on these benches would have a corregated bum for quite a while. Good design for council seating and u have fiddled well Dave. richard
I remember this bench and I've just had a look back at it. I think this works really well getting rid of the block paving.

Great lines to this David, and well worked too, the intense black background really sets the benchwork off.
