Fence-River Mersey
Similar sort of fence to the Salford station stuff.

Excellent find. Like the yellow/blue combination.
David Johnson: Not figured out why Stockport has Blue as its street furniture colour of choice!
Hypnotic. That is terrific.
David Johnson: Flexing the muscles of the new lens, that manual overide on autofocus is the business.
I think there is a particular craftsman who makes these fences - I used to know his name. Much used by landscape architects.
Your usual quality shot David.
David Johnson: Standards, standards, I can't tell you what the pressure is like, I'm a wreck.......
stunning piece of work, both off and on the photo well done David
David Johnson: Yeh trying not to launch this new lens into the gravel, checking out how it works with the AF settings and playing with the manual overide of the autofocus.....yes pissing about really..
very cool abstract...titlting of camera is just right...
David Johnson: Cheers mate, test shot really trying to figure out what the AF points and autofocus reckon is the sweet spot.
Seductive ;o)
David Johnson: You beast you ;~}
Love both your fence shots.
I suppose something has to keep the riff-raff out of the Mersey. The lines sort of mimic the flow of the waves as the tide moves in towards the sides of the river with the blue reflecting the almost natural colour of the Mersy and the yellow the sun that shines upon it.
Or perhaps it is really a good abstract of an interesting fence. Either way David it is well seen.
David Johnson: Dosn't keep the ASDA trolleys out though, cracking collection at this point. Anyway Les I though you were almost slipping into Brian Sewell mode for a moment! Great commnet btw, thanks!
Oh my! I love this one. Beautiful composition, stunning colour - just wonderful. (:o)
David Johnson: Thanks Ros, just testing the point of focus and what DOF looks like with this 24-120 lens and now Ive discovered the manual overide on the autofocus....er....whoopee...
Terrific shot David
David Johnson: Off geeting sunburn yesterday in the frosty bits of Derbyshire, more of which laterbut for now, thanks Bill!
Love the pattern which is what this is all about. Great shot !
Superb shot, Mr J! Great work, once again....
