Not so long ago, well in my lifetime anyway, this used to be part of the LMS route from Manchester through Buxton and then on to London. This is Millars Dale just along the road from Tideswell before you get back to Buxton, lovely big open sweeping roads that seem to claim more than their fair share of born-again bikers, especially the Cat and Fiddle bit. To my right are the old lime kilns where they cooked the rock and shoved it straight onto the trains.
3 exposures and a lot of transforming ,scaling and skewing to get them all to work, besides that a bit of a desat with a boost to the reds, sharpen foreground , gaussian background, FIN.
